About The Potty training Forum

Some things you might want to know about the Forum before you sign on.

WHAT:

It's password protected forum available to anyone who’s bought the book.

This isn’t for everyone therefore it’s not open to the general public

There are a couple of reasons why it’s set up this way.

- Forums are often great hiding holes for trolls and spam. Bleck.
- This is for parents who may have waited too long to potty train, who have questions and for people who want to brag…um, share…their success stories. I require that everyone play by my rules. My major rules can be found in the Major Roadblocks To Potty Training Success Video.
- This is for what I call “conscious parenting”; for parents who believe parenting can be respectful. No yelling. No punishment. No belittling. Children deserve to be treated as the human beings they are.
- I don’t have patience for any crap. No bullying, no competiveness, no name calling, no slamming other parents. This is SAFE, NON-JUDGEMENTAL PLACE. We all have the common goal of potty training in the fastest, least stressful way!

WHY:

I came up with the idea for this forum because I simply can not handle the flow of questions. I also realized that one-on-one help is crazy ineffective, both in cost and time. I’m only one person and the need for potty training help is vast. I find myself repeating the same conversations over and over. So what better than to make these public; that way we can all benefit from both my answers and what other parents have done?

HOW:

When you buy the book, you will see a special chapter. In this chapter, you get directions for logging in. Also, the forum password is right in the book.

I ask you to read the book first. Then peruse the forum if you have any questions. You may find they’ve been answered already. If not, post your question to the board. Though I’m not available 24/7, I will jump in as soon as I can.

Other parents are welcome to chime in and help as well.  I encourage you to start a forum journal. The process of potty training is short (it should be, anyway) and it’s nice to share success as well as struggles. You are also welcome to post other parenting problems and solutions. If you have something cool you think we could all benefit from, feel free to post.

WHERE:

This forum is public to THIS community. Please keep that in mind. On the flip side, this forum is NOT available to the general population. So don’t be fearful of being embarrassed.

WHEN:

The beauty of forums is that you can post anytime. Again, the process of potty training can be short so I know it’s vital for you to get timely answers because you need them, well, right now. Be mindful however, if you post a question at midnight, response times may be slow. There are parents from all over the country and time differences can come into play.

KEEP BREATHING AND HAVE FUN.
